2-Tone Entertainment (2TE)

“Shaurav D’Silva began his career in 1998 as a DJ and club promoter, later organising events such as the Urban Music Awards (2004–2005) and working with the MOBOs and Urban Development. In 2005, he founded 2-Tone Entertainment, focusing on A&R and management, managing acts like Rudimental and Baby Blue, who achieved chart success in 2009.

From 2009 to 2017, Shaurav worked as an A&R at 3Beat Records/Universal, signing and developing acts such as Cashtastic, Stylo G, Fuse ODG, and Sigma. He achieved over 10 million record sales, including multiple No. 1 singles for Sigma and top 10 hits for Fuse ODG.

In 2016, he expanded 2-Tone’s publishing arm, signing writers and producers like AoD (Notes, Stormzy, J Hus), Eyelar (Charli XCX, Demi Lovato), and Diztortion (Lethal Bizzle, Sean Paul). In 2017, he left 3Beat to grow 2-Tone with a JV label partnership with Warner Music, signing artists such as US Rapper Saweetie, RnB Artist Tayà and DJ’s Crazy Cousinz, Conducta, and Blinkie.

By 2020, 2-Tone became a fully independent label. Recent artists include Keys The Prince, Aystar, and Carla Monroe. The same year the company also formed a publishing partnership with Stellar Songs, signing talents like Ryan Ashley (FLO, H.E.R), Ghosty (Dave, Central Cee), Eight9Fly (Wizkid), Lauren Keen (FLO, Jo-Jo).

Following a sting of global hit songs across Pop, Electronic and Black music the venture with Stellar Songs was crowned Publisher of the year at the Music Business Worldwide A&R Awards in both 2022 and 2024, while Shaurav was also personally nominated for Best A&R in Pop in 2023.

In 2024 Shaurav was elected for the Music Managers Forum (MMF) Board and continues to manage a varied roster of songwriters, artists and producers. Shaurav also plays an active role in the Black Music Coalition (BMC) and the Pay Songwriters movement- a campaign supporting the equitable renumeration for songwriters. “
