Her work fuses classic storytelling (inspired by the likes of Bob Dylan, The Beatles & Joni Mitchell) with modern moments (Bleachers & Sharon Van Etten), striking the balance of timeless and contemporary. Her latest EP ‘Trains’, inspired by her 50 gigs in 50 days tour, landed her a spot as The Independent’s New Sensation Artist and NME described it as ‘her best work yet’.
Proudly defying the genre system, taking hints of rock, indie, alt-pop and folk, ‘Marie carves her own musical path that is unlike any other’ as put by Wonderland Magazine. Marie has spent 2023 working on the next body of work, which was previewed at Lafayette London in November before embarking on a UK Tour.

An avid supporter of London’s live music scene, Marie began ‘Little Gigs’ – a monthly music night in collaboration with Tooting’s Mezzanine cocktail bar. The venture was born out of internet fatigue and a wish to chat to kindred spirits beyond a screen. Hosted by Marie, the night removes boundaries between artist, audience and venue. Audience members are given the opportunity to ask questions directly to the performer – getting a deeper insight into the process, projects & passions of London’s finest indie acts.
