Sam Duckworth is a British musician best known for his work under the moniker Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly. He gained prominence in the mid-2000s with his unique blend of indie rock, folk, and electronica, characterized by heartfelt lyrics and a DIY ethos.
His debut album, “The Chronicles of a Bohemian Teenager,” released in 2006, received critical acclaim and featured hits like “War of the Worlds” and “I-Spy.” Throughout his career, Duckworth has collaborated with artists such as Billy Bragg, Nitin Sawhney, and Kate Nash, and has been an advocate for social and environmental causes.
Sam’s love of football meant he became involved in looking at grassroots funding for football clubs and has been using that knowledge alongside the Music Venues Trust to consider what music might learn from football.
